I'm trying to find pictures of every (or at least most) color / body type / coat type of rats for my genetics section on my website.  If anybody has any pics I can use, I would be very very thankful!  Of course, full credit and / or a link will be given.

Ooh... just re-read the original thread... BE SURE to get permission from the original photographer before you use ANY of the photos on ANY of the links listed. The images on them are copyrighted.

Hi there,

I have a few good examples off my web site (Odd Eyed, BEW, Rex, Blazed Variegated, etc, etc...).

Just go to http://www.rattie.net, and then "Resident", "Photography", or "Previous Litters" to find the most pictures.

Your welcome to them, but I would like some form of credit/acknowledgement.

You have a down under rat in the US???  Wow, I thought they were only found in Australia.  Darn.  Now I want one.  Smiley

I thought that "down under" was just a different coloration, not a description of location.

It's strange that you say that because, if I am right, this is the second down under I have owned....

Hey guys...see the pic on the afrma colour page of an irish?  That is almost exactly what Shadow looks like :0  Just thought I'd share Smiley
Also, what's the difference between a champagne and an amber?

Nope, nope, sorry.  I'm wrong.  I don't know what my problem was when I looked at that page the first time.  Maybe just a lack of sleep?

It does not appear that her coloration is even on here (or maybe I'm just reading it wrong again)...  She is somewhere between "banded" and "english berkshire".  Her back, head, and part of her sides are dark, her belly is white.  You can see pics of her here:
http://www.goosemoose.com/rfc/index.php?board=3;action=display;threadid=441;start=0#lastPost

By the way, I was using the Tripod page for reference.  She looks like their "down under" on the top, but her belly is white.
