Last night a guy came into where I work and said he had a rat in his car. He knew I had rats. His friend tried to feed it to a snake. The snake didn't eat it. I keep only male rats myself, and with the ratties bum full of fear poops I thought she was a male.....but he is a she....

Is there anyone out there who wants a sweet agouti hooded girl?
I am also afraid she might be pregnant....

Well...I have fallen head over heels in love with her...she is staying....

If she is not pregnant I will be looking for a neutered boy for her to live with...

You know I've seen it happen, you're used to all boys than boom! a girl comes along!  Aren't they great?  I'm in the process of increasing my girl quantity because I love them just as much, their curosity overwhelms me.

I still prefer fat squishy lazy boys to girls over all....girls just have too much energy for me......
but this girl...she sometimes sleeps ON her igloo instead of in it...she doesnt have a mean bone in her body....she takes treats so gently....she sits with me at work on my lap and doesnt want to go anywhere (shes in quarentine at my work)...she bruxes and boggles all the time and after the abuse she suffered, why should she do that? She seems so ready to trust people again..and how can that be?

Most of all...girly or not..she needed me...and I think I needed her too....

One of her ears is half gone..I dont know why...it is withered and has a scab on the edge and appears to be healing nicely....more abuse suffered by MY girl...so the husband has christened her " dead ear"....lol.....hes not really an animal person but he likes her alot more than he will admit.....I cant wait for the next week and a half to go by..Im praying she is not pregnant...and I have my eye on a boy at Kims Ark for her..neutered of course.....and I will take care of him and love him and give him everything he needs....but he wont be my rat..he will be hers....her name is Billiejo now and no matter what happens I will never regret taking her in....shes just a plain little girl...nothing special....agouti hooded with no headspots or belly spots that might stand out...just a plain little girly rat......
but the nicest thing that has happened to me in awhile.....
