Cross posting for a woman that needs to find homes for 39 babies. She cannot keep them herself and is in desperate need of homes. She had 25 when she made the first post and has since gotten more. SHe's not a breeder, but she does work at a pet store.

hello all- my name is jessica and i live in WEST VIRGINIA. i have 25 newborn baby rats! yes, 25- i know- let me tell u about the story to y i have this many! ok- i love animals esp rats! well i went to a badly upkept pet store and there she was in a 20 gal tank w/ about 30 others! A beautiful fawn hooded lil girl- well it was love at 1st sight- took her home - i had her for about 2 weeks, when on the 19 of this month- she had 10 lil babies- awwww- 10? wow- i thought- how am i possibly going to find homes for all 10 of them?- the very next moning, my black hooded girl-Big Mama- had 7!!!!!!! o man, this is getting better by the minute- i was in ratty heaven- 17 babies- geeze- ok- so i went to work( i work at a pet store) and a lil berkshire ratty was having babies- how cute - i will get to watch these lil guys grow up as well- went home (this was a friday) came back to work the next morning - she hadnt been feeding them- these lil things were freezing cold- i quickly took them and let my other moms raise them- sadly 3 of the new babies passed( it was too late for them) So guys, there it is- 25 rats in 3 days- if any one would like to adopt these lucky babies- please let me know- i really want them to find loving forever homes! my email is

ok the lil boogers are about 1 week old- just wanted you guys to know the colors-i have hooded(black brown fawn and lilac) champagne, berkshires, fawns and browns..... they are about 3 1/2 weeks old
i have 5 fawn hooded, 5 black(maybe brown)hooded- 7 champange, and 7 berkshires(black).
