I have two baby girls and six adult boys.  Are their nutritional needs different enough that I should order two different kinds of Harlan Teklad?  Or is there one kind that is sufficient for both sets?

I think Teklad blocks are supposed to meet the nutritional requirements of both sexes, but someone more experienced than me might know more.

The 2016 diet will be fine. It's is listed as the maintenance diet, whereas 2018 and 8604 are used for breeding/lactating animals and for growth. They have more fat and protein in them than really neccessary.

I have the 2018 for my boys, but they are still growing so I wanted to make sure they had what they need and I was told it would be alright even when they are done growing.  I had them on some horrible pet store lab blocks when I first got them and they got a bit squishy (in a bad way) and now that I have them on the 2018 they have lost the bad fat (even though they keep getting bigger because they are young).  I have also noticed a MAJOR improvement in their fur... it is much softer and shinier.  I would recommend the 2018 for you as it will help the baby girls grow and will not be detremental to the adult males.  After the girls are grown you could consider switching if you needed to, but I think it is still a great diet if they remain active.
