Yeah. That's me. Sucker! lol.
I got two new boys today. I think one is a month or two older than the other, or they are the same age but one
is a runt compared to the other. I would guess the older one is about 4/5 months, and the younger about 3.
I'm still trying to think of names I want for them. I'll call them big and little brother for now. Big brother is hooded with marking down his back. He has a mix of russian blue, beige, white and black, but in the light the blue stands out a bit.
I'm not sure he feels too well though. It could be some of the stress of moving. He doesn't have poryphorin, isn't
sneezing or whatnot but seems to be breathing a little harder than he was at the pet store. Seems very tired. But it could be the adjustments since he's had quite a day! I'm going to take them both to the vet anyway tomorrow or Wed just to make sure they get the thumbs up for good health, and if not, we can catch it quick.
Little brother is also hooded with some marking on his back. He's more black and brown colored. His whiskers are
black and white and very cute. He's got a lot of energy and spunk between the two of them. He seems VERY
healthy. Maybe his big brother is just more mellow?
I'll post pics as soon as I get a few good ones. We've made good progress today so far. I've only had them home for 5 hours - both have learned my hand already and don't nibble/nip. Both are taking food from my fingers and mushy
food off my fingertips

I was able to hold both briefly. Big brother was very nervous, pooed on me a few times in fear, but otherwise did extremely well and after about 10 mins I put my arm out, he crawled down and back into the cage. Little Brother pooed a little, but he was definitely more into exploring mommy

Into the shirt, snuggled, purred, darted onto the shoulder, etc. But was happy to get back into his cage too, lol.
One other thing I saw with Big Brother - his tail was hanging down and twitching/swirling like mad for a few minutes. I've only seen a rat tail do that once before when Patches was older and ill. Is this a sign of illness? It didn't seem to be an agressive thing.
