Rodere Rattery and Rescue

It is about time for my beautiful rescue babies to start departing for new homes. I've not seen them nurse from their surogate for several days now. I wanted to offer you all first dibs before I start serious searching locally. 1 possibly two of the available 8 may already be claimed.

There are two mismarked hooded babies, both male. There is a bareback blue boy, and his notch capped sister who is also blue, 2 REW; a starred, collared, and mismarked hooded boy who is a greyish agouti color (smallest of the 9), probably blue agouti; and his sister- a girl with a nose blaze that goes all the way between her ears and mismarked hooded of the same color. Her markings resemble the possom face markings.

The blue boy has the most outgoing personality. He will leap for your hand if you don't pick him up. He insists on getting attention and is turning out to be quite a lover. If we were't keeping Jarppi, who is missing half his tail, he'd be staying here! The blue notch capped girl is quite subdued, but not in an unsocial manner. She is calmer than your average baby girl. And Talc, a REW, is also very outgoing and loveable. All of the babies are very sweet, but those three seem to go above and beyond.

There is no genetic history of these babies, two of which belong to the surogate mom. I can provide pictures of the father of the babies, who was bred to two females, one three times in a row and once to the surogate. All of the surogate's litter, aside from the two went as snakefood before I found out about them.

These babies will either go to pet homes or if a respectable breeder is willing to invest the time and money to make sure the line is healthy and use one for their breeding program. Although pet homes are definately the most preferable.

We can drive a short distance to meet, although we'd like to keep it as close as possible. Asking $8 adoption fee for local residents, but for board members, it'll be $7 each or $12 a pair. I will help arrange shipping if the adopter is paying expenses.

We want these babies to go to good homes!
I can link to my posts about them if anyone wants to see pictures.

2 boys went to their forever home today and the two females have been claimed, but we are holding them until Monday while their mom gets them a new cage.

We have two REW and two mismarked hooded left. We are going tomorrow to find them homes Smiley 4 in one day isn't too shabby.
