You Always Widdle On The One You Love

So my new rescue Ray is either very vocal of there is something wrong.  What do you all think?  When ever you pick him up or pet him he lets out a tiny little squeek like he would give another rat to let them know he doesn't like what they are doing for instance if they were to power groom him.  I have a very vocal rat who squeeks a lot but he doesn't do it so much when you pick him up or pet him.

Treat everyday like a dog would.  If you can't eat it or chew on it then pee on it and walk away!

I have a drama queen, Dot.  She squeaks out the most pitiful eeps when you pick her up, pet her or anything!  I'm used to it now, and just laugh.  I'll scritch her on purpose and listen to her eee with every scritch.  Eee Eee Eee  ... hehehehehe  She's gotten better, but it's still a crack up to torment her.  She doesn't run away either!  Just eee eeee eee.

It could just be that he's not used to you or being handled yet.  Might not be a bad idea to have your vet check them all out due to how bad things were.

He just sounds nervous about handling.  Give him time.  Its a different tone when they hurt...much more urgent and shrill.

Hey that's nothing! I had a boy who used to scream like a little girl who just saw a ghost!
Never bit, just screamed.  It took a while but Rexxie got over it and became one of my best buds.
