I have two male rats looking for a new home.  They are both a little over a year old.  One is a black self dumbo and the other is a black self dumbo velveteen.  I also have two females and I'd like to be able to dedicate more time to my rats so I'm looking to re home the boys in able to do that.  They are very sweet but they seem to be a little aggressive toward eachother recently, so they may have to be housed separately.  I am located in Albuquerque, NM.  Please email me at horsevaulting@aol.com if you're interested!  Thanks!

Just an update, I noticed some bald patches on the boys so I separated them and they seem to be doing better.  They are both really sweet toward people, but they just don't seem to get along with eachother anymore.  I think that the black self dumbo, Tucker, is the more aggressive one since I noticed that he's the one chasing Mitch around the cage and Mitch has more bald patches than him.  But hair can always grow back!  It won't take long for them to be their old, furry selves again!  Let me know if you're still interested.  I'd love for them to go to a good home where someone has more time to spend with them, because they deserve it!  They are such good boys!  Grin

When you're too open minded, brains fall out!

The bald patches could be from over-grooming, or barbering.  Unless they're fighting, they'd most likely be better off together still, and easier to adopt out.  Just my thoughts ... but this area isn't for discussion.  Perhaps bring it up in Rat Care??

as a last resort, if you must rehome them and absolutely cannot find any one else to take them, let me know.  i am in clovis and if you can get them to me, they will be loved and spoiled rotten.  i should be a last resort only, though, because i am going to be moving who knows where soon and really should not be adding to my numbers.  but if you can't keep them, if they must go, if you cannot find another suitable home, and if you can get them to me, i will take them.  heck, what's a couple more?!

lol!  Thanks so much for the offer!  They really are sweet boys.  If anyone is interested, please let me know.  I hate to give them up but I really think it's better that I do.  Thanks for reading!
