Hi everyone -
I am so happy that I have been so successful in the placement of my babies into good homes! ONLY 3 MORE BOYS LEFT!  Grin

They were born on July 21, making them about 2 months old now. They are very sweet, very curious, and very friendly with people as I have played with and held them every day since they were born!

These are the little boys:

This is a very special little PEW boy. We believe that he is blind in his right eye due to either an infection or a genetic condition (others had it, but it cleared up and did not result in vision damage).

It doesn't cause him any pain or bother him at all, but he does squint or close the right eye, as you can see here:

This is "Gray Boy With Socks"  Smiley

And this is "Gray Boy Without Socks".

I am in Chicago, IL, and am willing to drive a reasonable distance to deliver or meet with the right families!

I am charging a $10 adoption fee for each baby (even though they're worth so much more than that!  Cheesy )

I really want these babies to have the most fulfilling lives they possibly can, and hopefully someone here can provide that for them!

Please message me privately for more details about the babies, and any other questions you may have!

Thanks!,
Lauren

How close can you come to Missouri? I am in LOVE with the first blazed girl. What is the history behind these rats?

How close can you come to Indiana. I live in West Middleton, just outside of Kokomo. I am really interested in one of the two blazed boys, especially the runt. For my rattie Cecil. He needs a friend.

Kiriapollo -

West Middleton is a little over 3 hours from me. Would it be possible for you to possibly meet up with me in Valparaiso or Indianapolis? I would prefer to keep the drive under 3 hours - I'm not sure my car could take it!

Let me know what you're thinking!

Hey Heather, I live in SE Iowa, but I will be going to IL. the second week in Oct. I'll be staying about an hour from Chicago, so there's an idea for a rattie train if you want to wait that long....
I'm not sure how far where I am in Iowa is from you though.
I just love the blaze girls and that first little girl!

~Lin, I got your PM and driving to Lafayette wouldn't be a problem, especially if it means getting 2 or even possibly 3 of my baby girls a good home!

Kiriapollo, would you be able to drive to Lafayette to meet ~Lin and I? That would work out very well if we can all coordinate our schedules to find a time to meet! Let me know if this would be possible and then we can see what time and day is best for everyone.

Also, what are your names? I feel terrible calling you by your display names, LoL!!

LoL I should have figured  Wink

I responded to her privately via email, but posting it here would be a very good idea. Here is the story in a nutshell:

I got both the mom and the dad when they were about 3 months old from a petstore that I was closely associated with, and when the store asked if they could use them to start a breeding program at the store, I said no problem, because I knew they would be well taken care of. Once they were a little over a year old, I took them back home to give them a happy retirement, LoL, but no one had thought to separate them before I came to pick them up, and so the babies were born!

They're from a litter of 12, though one little girl passed away. Three boys and one girl have found homes, but the rest are still looking!

Incase anyone would like to see them, these are the parents:

This is Juno, the mom, and the love of my life!  Smiley

And this is the proud papa, Kheper.

Everyone free to ask any other questions you may have! Sometimes I just don't think to post these things!

I want that first girl then, she's mine Smiley I've claimed her. Just let me know whenever you can bring her down. I can wait because I have a girl in quarantine right now, so I'm probably going to have to set up a temporary quarantine in a storage tub. (I move constantly, so I have a TON of those storage containers in the garage)

And if no one else takes the blazed girls I may take one, I'm not sure yet. Ive never had more than 2 rats at a time before, and I have 2 now plus am on a waiting list with a breeder. I don't know if I want to jump from 2-4 and then up to 5 so quickly.

Both of the blaze boys have found homes - One of which is with me, and his name is now Ares  Smiley

The homes for the three boys that are now pictured are the ones that fell through. They're very sweet boys, and the girls are as well!

I'm in Milwaukee and am VERY interested in a female. I already have one female Dumbo. I've had NUMEROUS rats, but never more than one at once. Do you have any females?
