New bahbees!

Naming contest... GO.
They are a black-eyed siamese rex dumbo, who looks like the abominable snowman cuz he's fluffy, if the abominable snowman was 3 inches long and couldn't stop running around and sniffing everything.
He looks a like chickee in the photo below.
And a Agouti Berkshire Rex Dumbo. He is just the sweeeetest (melting off the chair) little guy. The first time he met me, he sat on my shoulder and bruxed.
(If you want to see this whole thing as a cutesie photo album with baby-boy pictures and creative captions (like "This is an unnamed boy"), go to

They are way cute!! These names have probably been used in the Rattie world in the past but they remind me of Calvin and Hobbes.

By the way, Johann, that is one SHARP camera! I wish I could get mine to focus like that. What sort is it?

IN response to a couple questions:
They are bred by Ratz Realm Rattery. The agouti boy is the son of my rat Jacy. The siamese is the nephew of my rat Nodin.
The camera is a Nikon D70 SLR digital. It's pretty expensive, but I'm a guy, so I need toys like that, as a vital nutrient, without which I couldn't live more than a couple of days.

I dunno... I've known men who
think
they are deprived of expensive toys and then go out and buy some, only to remember they don't read directions so can't work them properly. Then the poor cameras/power tools/ whatever just sit on a shelf and gather dust.
So sad.
-Jessica
P.S.
Since they are so expensive, perhaps I shall just steal yours.
P.P.S.
Where is Ratz Realm located?

I'm proud to say that I have no electronic toys currently gathering dust.
I did go through a lengthy period of not using the r/c flight simulator I bought for my computer (which requires specialized hardware) but I'm using it again. I can't think of a single toy that I'm not using constantly. Certainly my laptop has thousands of hours on it. Even more on my home computer.
Actually part of it is that when I really don't use something anymore, I sell it on Ebay.
I'm single, but if anyone wants to marry me (I'm desperate, I'll take anyone
) I'm proud to say that after I buy dozens of electronic toys, depleting our bank account and spending our children's college money, you can count on the fact that I'll be
using
those toys. I know it's a tough job but I'm man enough for the challenge.

Ah yes, every woman's dream: to live in a hotel because there was no money for rent; it was all spent on the thousands of electronics and other doo-dads that surround her in her home-sweet-hotel , her children still living with her when they're forty because they couldn't afford college, her husband out all day trying to get someone to loan him the money he needs to get his next "fix", the latest and greatest new thing ... It's a beautiful thing.

When I look at them, all I can see in a lighter Charlie and a darker Reginald.
Let us know, what you decide, won't you?

Lambchop and Moonpie. They deserve really cutesie names, but I think all fwuffy baby sheep-rats scream out for cutesie names.
OT: Did you change your screen name? I know Jacy and Nodin from prior posts, but your screen name just doesn't ring a bell with your ratties.

I like lambchop. It will go in the short list.
Yes I changed my screen name from CompuRat to JohannSebastianRat. Sorry for the confusion, but I got bored with CompuRat.. I don't want to reinforce an association with computers when I'm talking about rats... rats are how I get away from my darn left brain which gets so freakin' tired from programming all day.

Farley, Charley and Marley...or Harley.
do you know who the Lone Gunmen were from X files? Langly, Frohike, and Byers.
Too bad you're going for cute. I've been waiting to name a trio Dahmer, Gacy and Bundy for awhile. Especially ones that are the antitheses of those names.
Matrix names? Neo, Morpheus, Cypher, Dozer, Tank, Agent Smith.
Joey, Chandler, Ross.
They are PRECIOUS, precious boys no matter what you name them!

Hehehe, I have the D50 and I
it. My husband had a fit when I bought it without telling him (in my defense, we weren't married yet and it was
my
tax refund that purchased it). He has since recanted, once he realized how big a difference there was from the old digicam when it came to taking pictures of his car(s).
Cute bubbies, btw. The smeeze melted me into a pile of goo.
