Haha no worries. They'll find great homes anyway. Good luck with everything (psst I responded to your thread on crossing the border by the way)

I'm pooped you'all! I'm gonna go and feed my 47 little inmates and then I'm going to go and bath Alexander. If I still have fingers to type with after that adventure I'll be checking in tomorrow!
Mayabear! Where are you?

My list of adopters is as follows:
KrochetKatRat - The 2 baby girls (one blue russian hooded / one blue & white patched).
Standingonthefringes - Cute Nose Boy (Black/White varigated boy)
SuccubusofAngels - Alexander, my special rescue - a blue russian dumbo
Blackthorn - 2 PEW dumbo boys
Kimmiekins - Black/white dumbo hooded boy
Deb45044 - 2 Russian Cinnamon boys (?)
Mayabear - Blaze Boy and/or Argente juvenile boy (?)
Standingonthefringes / SuccubusofAngels / Blackthorn - you are all in or near Detroit - could you possibly talk amongst yourselves and see if we can pick a spot so I only have to make 1 stop?
Kimmiekins and Deb45044 - you are both in or near Cincinatti, could you maybe so the same.
It would be greatly appreciated - I am going to have 2 restless teenage boys with me and they're not too thrilled that I'm holding up their holiday with my "rattie world tour".

Slight correction, I'm getting one pew dumbo, and Succubus is getting the other as well as Alexander.
What rats are left? I know someone in Barrie, ON who is interested.

I'm sure the 3 of us can work it out to meet for one stop. Any idea what time you'll be in Detroit?

If I get through the border without problems I should be in Detroit by 4:00. I'd like to be earlier but it would be an unrealistic expectation I think. It would really help me out to make only one stop because I really want to be in Kentucky by bedtime.
The only baby I have left is the blaze agouti. Mayabear had expressed interest in him but has not contacted me with any confirmation or info. I also have some boys and girls who are appx. 4 months old. I have access to the babies that Unglued has - she has posted pictures in this thread. I'm actually in Barrie, not Toronto.
Thanks.

Blackthorn and I won't have a problem being one stop on the trip since we're both good friends anyway, but I'm not sure about Standingonthefringes.
How's Alexander today?
Also -- so the white/grey patched boy with the stripe down his back has been adopted?

Alexander's bath helped a lot but I expect he'll need a few more before he qualifies as a supermodel.
Living in the hamster cage really gave him a complex. I have him in a cage that's at least twice as big but he hangs out in one little corner. No matter where I put it he pulls his sleeping box in close to the bars and hangs out in the little section left in front of it. I've never seen him in any other part of the cage when I go in the room. He comes running out as soon as he sees or hears me though. He loves to come out and spend time with me and you can tell he's annoyed when I try to put him back. I dunno, by Sunday I might not be able to say goodbye!

I promise you, he'll have the best home there is and I will spoil him to no end. Plus, I'm obsessed with taking pictures of all my pets, so it's not as though you'll never see him again!

So, that's Sunday the 5th, at 4pm? Standingonthefringes lives close to me, so it shouldn't be an issue if she needs to tag along to Succubus's (SoA is the closest of the 3 of us to Detroit).
My friend Terri is interested in a rattie or two to join her crew, and she's in Barrie, ON. Her email is valkyri at valkyri dot org. I can vouch for her as a great rat owner. I let her know the agouti blazed is available as well as some others.

Hi,
I'm very sorry that I didn't reply any sooner, I've been backed up with work. I'm still very interested in the blaze agouti baby boy and in the older argente boy too. I wish I would have seen the PEW dumbo boys also, they are to die for
...lucky Blackthorn
. I can make it to Macon, Georgia.... it's about a 2 hour drive for me. If you can let me know a date with approx time or I can give you my cell number to contact me, I know that a driving time line isn't an exact science when it comes to traffic and other factors. Also were in Macon would you like to link up. Thank you very much for your time and sorry once again for not replying sooner.

I'm just fine meeting up with Deb at the rest stop discussed in emails/PMs. Anything to get that sweet dumbo boy!

Is there a preferrable area around Detroit you'd like to meet us in, 'Popcorn'? Or is there a preferrable place for you guys(Succubus and Blacktthorn)?
I'm flexible (:

I will be coming down I-75. Anywhere along it is fine with me, preferably somewhere away from heavy traffic congestion. It's a small RV but I've never driven one before so I'll need room to manouver! I'm even willing to go slightly off the highway as long as I have good directions. Would it help if I got off at 24 (Telegraph Rd.) and went a bit north say to Taylor or something like that?

Mayabear, in your case maybe I could get off at 96 and go to Fort Valley. Would that shorten your trip a bit?

As for the Cincinnati girls, I can do both stops (The Waffle House and the Rest Stop). I don't want anybody to have to do too much driving.

I just realized that I'll be leaving Barrie with 10 rats and 5 cages!! Good thing most of them are being dropped off the first day! I hope putting them all together in a fairly confined space will be OK. I currently have Alexander and the two PEW dumbo boys in quarantine (in different rooms) since I just got them and the 2 baby girls that I am taking to Windsor have been housed in a room two floors away from the boys since I separated them.
Because of space restrictions I have to put them in small hamster type cages. If any of you need a small cage for transport or whatever you will be able to keep them. I don't need or want them back.

That'd be great for me (: Taylor would be perfect.. perhaps you could get off at the Eureka Exit, and we could meet you at the local mall o.o; At least that's the closest 'landmark' I could think of.

Thats cool about the cages Elizabeth.
I could def use a extra cage if you dont need them. So I wont need to bring anything to put them in? Also, about what time do you think you will get to my area? BF thinks it might be late (past 9pm)and doesnt like the idea of us meeting at a rest area...alot of weird ppl out there. He used to drive a truck so he kno's about the weird ppl..lol. Let me know what you think and if your just meeting me, then could you just come to middletown exit? There are plenty of places there that you wont have to worry about drivin the RV around.

I (and Kaia) wouldn't mind meeting anywhere in Taylor, since that's only a few minutes from me. My house is only about 2 minutes from I-75, actually. We could meet at my house if need be, also
I'm right off of Telegraph.
