You should list all adoptable period that you have. Do you still have some of Dori's (?) babies?

How old are the 3 adult girls? Are they living together?

If Francisca's healed up enough from her spay (which was just last week), then she's in with the other two adult girls.  None of the girls have a problem getting along together  Smiley

But it's not that they are really bonded and can't be separated? I am asking because my friend might get two and I would get one. She would quarantine all three but when I come back from vacation I would take the one girl. Now, how old are they?

They're not bonded, though they get along fine.  They would be okay to adopt out separately.  Francisca is about 6-8 months old, Jenny and Cheyenne are about 3-4 months old.  Where are you located? Smiley

I am south of Milwaukee. Would it be OK to meet you like around Gary, IN or something? I haven't heard back from my friend yet. I would be interested in Francisca since 6-8 months is the age I am looking for.
What about their health and temperament? And please be honest because I am so done giving meds for 14 weeks and I already have a very hyper alpha that thinks she has to have bald friends and everything needs to be chewed.  Wink

If I could find someone to help transport (say from Kalamazoo to Gary or such), that might be doable.

Francisca is pretty outgoing and sociable.  The other two are much more skittish, but slowly coming around.  The variberk is not so keen on being held, but will climb on you and investigate people.  All three have been healthy so far.  Some sneezes, nothing warranting meds.  They've all been treated for mites as a precaution considering the environment they came from.

I always strive to be honest in regards to my rats and rescue. Tongue

Sounds good!
I didn't mean to accuse you of being a liar. I guess I am just frustrated because I've been lied to twice now  Sad

That would be great if you could find someone who would be willing to drive to IN! Do you think it would be possible this upcoming weekend? I usually have time during the week also. We are leaving on 12/22 and there are still a few things I need to do. So for me, the sooner the better but other than that I am pretty flexible.

Oh and do you happen to have a picture of the three girls?  Hyper Not that it matters. What I have seen so far they are all gorgeous!

If you really have someone willing to transport to the Burgh, I would love to talk to you about possibly getting Harvey. I haven't been able to stop thinking about him since I saw him. I know I said no more boys, but lookit him!

I do have someone willing to transport out there. Smiley  She lives in PA but goes to school here, so is making the commute fairly often at least til she's done with school.

I understand.  I don't think it helps anyone to be dishonest about rescue rats, but yes I know that it happens.  I'm not infallible, but I do my best to assess the ratties that come through my rescue.

This weekend, I don't think will work.  I've got "social obligations" up the wazoo.  Ick to the holidays.  If possible, I'd like to include Lin in the transport and get Lucy to her.. but of course Lucy needs to be done weaning her babies.

*lol* your telling me?!  I am getting married in June in MN but I am spending Christmas in Lansing, MI.  My dad wants to make the whole 15 hour drive in one run..... switching drivers every 3 hours.  We have to go look at churches, etc.   Talk about a fun time    So I thought a few rats might make it more fun!

OK, I would love to adopt Francisca. I guess it will be after the holidays then. I'll be back on the 3rd.
My friend decided not to take any rats right now. She would have taken 2 of the lab rats in Madison (since it was urgent) and I would have taken one but I found out that they just euthanized them anyway. Grrrrr. My friend has a lot of other pets and wouldn't have that much time.
Anyway, I really hope this will work out somehow! I hope Francisca is recovering well after her spay!
