I opened the whole cage for the boys tonight. It is a little boring this time around. I am waiting on a Peek-A-Boo playhouse from Violet976 and planning on making a set to match it. Until then I just wanted to get it cleaned and let the boys enjoy the entire cage.

With doors closed,

Open,

Top half,

and bottom, I really want a red wheel. I guess I will have to get a Silent Spinner.

The boys Peek-A-Boo Playhouse arrived today from Violet976, so I just had to clean out the boys cage. Cheeky

Stars & Moons. The extra shelf I got at Home Depot for $12 and it hooks right to the top bars. I am going back tomorrow to get another for the bottom cage.

Sun,

Just wanted to add this picture of Coco. Yellow Cute Laugh

The FN got moved, now the rats have some sun!

The boys get locked in the bottom at night so my sickie girls don't get harassed so much.  Its hard having 3 of your rats go down at once.

I believe those pictures are from Critterchic  as the swirly stars are the fabric she mailed in to use for her playhouse.  That's actually a Joanns fabric I will be trying to track down today (I have the website SKU#, so hopefully they can help me find it with that at the store) Blue Dumbo Smile

Violet976, you can find that fabric in the Novelty section. Where the paw print, baseball ect. fabric can be found.

Nightmelody, lol, thanks. Joann's, Novelty section.

And their sweet new food dish that I got at Target for $1.74. They also had blue, green, and brown.

Thanks! You mean, the one hanging from the top? It's a cube with the hole faced toward the shelf. They climb from the shelf in to the cube. Smiley

Schrute, that is the biggest cube I have ever seen!

Well, I am finally satisfied with the lower level. I added the shelf, moved the hammocks around and added the step on the door. The boys like to hop on that to get down. I "think" they like to have a choice. Hyper

No one has posted on this thread for a while, so I'll share some recent pics.

Entire cage:

Top level currently housing 4 males:

The bottom two levels house 3 males.  The very bottom level is boring, so no pic of it.

Mine aren't chewed because I take pics immediately after I'm done cleaning the cage.   Yellow Cute Laugh  Has nothing to do with well-mannered rats in my house.
