I posted a while ago about two girls needing homes in Chattanooga, Tennessee. One of the rats is a sweet tempered older girl and the other rat is an agressive youger girl. I have now sperated the the two due to the escalating agresseviseness of the younger rat. I need to find this girl a home or a rescue that can deal with a biter. I know she is not in a good situation here. I unfortunatley got these rats dumped on me through a frustrating series of events and do not have the time or resources to care for them. I fear that the longer the rat is here, the worse she is getting. I know she need stimulation and play time and someone who can work with her, but I can't do it. I am afraid if I can't find her somewhere to go that she will have to be PTS. I do not want to do this. I know it is not her fault that she is behaving how she is, but the fact is that the longer she is here the worse she is becoming. It is hard to even clean her cage due to her lunge at anyone that gets withing reach. She has already bitten two people were i work (three including me) and I don't think I will be able to keep her here much longer. The local zoo, nature center, humane society won't take her. Please Please Please if anyone can help or even give a suggestion where to look I would be eternely grateful.

I know this isn't a place for discussion, but the info isn't here.  Has she seen a vet to see if she's ill, or in pain?  And a spay may POSSIBLY help her temperment.  Something to consider.

I am a rat mom in KS who takes in special needs rats, emotional as well as physical.  If there is any way the biter girl can be brought here, she can live out her life with me.
