I got the OK from Sunshine Rat Rescue to post this:

Someone who recently purchased two beautiful rattie girls from the local pet store had a "pet store surprise" on Monday night, February 5: one of her two girls gave birth to fifteen beautiful babies.

There are 4 girls and 8 boys in need of good homes. (The other three baby girls have been reserved.) Babies will be able to leave their mom in three weeks. The babies have been handled since birth and should be well socialized. All little ratties are black berks.

We do have a screening process in place (for the protection of the ratties and our own piece of mind). There is a small adoption fee, a nonbreeding contract, and adopters will receive a cd of pictures and a health care booklet.

If interested in adopting, please contact the rescuers through this blog: http://babyratsneedgoodhomes.blogspot.com/

There will be photos by tomorrow.
