Have you thought about contacting the breeders who the rats are from?  Most reputable breeders will take their offspring back and cagemates s that they do not end up in an improper environment.

What I meant to say(in reponse to ShadowWolf  Wink), was that I am not willing to contact the breeders, because I have heard some disturbing information about one of them, and being that one is mentoring the other, I trust neither.

zack is very right, i wish we could take them but its not the right time for us right now.  i am sharing an apartment with three girls and currently have two cages and four ratties already in my bed room.

OK, I think I got it, your original post said 4 boys, and then 2 were adopted, and there are 2 left?  I never saw the original post.  I'm thinking some people are thinking you're bumping a thread for two boys who were already adopted.  So Morgan and Hobbesy are still available?

(I'm not interested in adopting, just read this thread and got confused, like the other person...)

I think the way I editted the post before, was so that people couldn't tell that this was also the original post that contained four boys. Oops!

I'm interested, but I am four hours away from Ypsilanti. I would meet you halfway but the car is nearly dead and I'm certain we won't get another one till next month. So yeah, it's hard enough for me to get downtown.

If anyone is willing to help out to get these boys to Indianapolis, IN I'm interested. They are GORGEOUS.

I live in the Indy area and drive to Ft. Wayne fairly regularly.  It's probably way short notice, but I will be in Ft Wayne tomorrow.  I expect to be in Ft Wayne again in about two weeks.  If I can help with transport by driving them from Ft. Wayne to Indianapolis, please let me know.

  Seriously you guys are my hero! I have some carefresh for you too EARPS, that I promised like forever ago I contacted standing, two weeks will be better than tomorrow really if that is alright. THANKS!

Bert is so excited! I know he will have to wait 4+ weeks possibly with quarantine added to the trip but he seems really excited right now. He's not been accepted by Odin so I havn't been able to cage him with Odin and Bastian. Bastian is cool with him, Odin isn't. So Odin and Bastian will be going into one cage and Bert, Morgan and Hobbesy are going to be bestest friends! Or at least I  hope. Bert is a pretty easy going ratty. Hyper and playful but he loves everyone, except Odin cause everytime him and Odin meet in neutral territory Bert gets bit
