Three young male rats for adoption. My housemate has returned from California and has developed a bad allergy, so I need to place these guys NOW!!!   Worry I am afraid she will make me take them to animal control if I haven't rehomed by the end of the week.  Roy, Dwight, and Toby are great rats and get along very well. They were introduced separately so if you have rats already they would probably be introduced just fine. They are not neutered, and only a few months old. I have had them for a while and they have grown well, they are healthy eaters. They have been in good health the entire time I have had them. One is slightly cage aggressive so will need to be worked with. I can supply my gloves, two water bottles, treats, a plastic igloo, and a large bag of litter. They can be separated.   Cages available.  Pictures available.  Thanks so much!  Blue Dumbo Big Eyes

What town are you in?  Can you post pictures?  And what kind of cage do you have for them?

*Also wanted to ask about the cage aggressive boy...how is he outside of the cage?  How hard is it to get him out?  Are any of them neutered?

If someone can explain to me how i post pictures on here I will definitely post, I'm a little illiterate.  I am in New Brunswick, I don't have my own car but I may be able to have someone drive me a little bit of the way.  There are two white boys and one white boy with brown markings on his head.  They are all intact.  I was planning on neutering but that was before my housing situation got all messed up Sad .  I have a small blue coast cage and a large purple coast cage.  They are pet store rescues so they are timid, especially in new situations.  But they will take treats from your hands.  One of the white ones is more shy than the others, the other two like to 'battle' each other (playfully).  The other white one is a little aggressive, so you have to watch your hands around the cage.  But I think with a little work and maybe after neutering he'll be just fine. They are pretty active.

That would be fantastic, I will be around this week if someone can pick them up or to possibly take them part way. Let me know what works for you!

Are you willing to give Ashley the cages, too?  I don't know if she needs them, but just checking.

CityLights, can you get a ride part of the way?  If not, I'll come to you, but Ashley is about an hour from here, so up to you, down to her, then back home is a hike.  I'm near Princeton/Trenton, so we could meet at a shopping center, or something easy to get to.  Thanks!

Just letting you guys know I'm leaving on Friday July 13 and I'll be away for 12 days.  So, if you need my help to transport, it needs to be done by Thursday.

Yeah if she needs the cage, I'm willing to part with it, I'm just glad they'll be going to a good home  Heart

My friend says he can drive me like halfway tomorrow evening after work, would that work for you?  Do you know a good place to meet?  Thanks everyone!

Halfway to Trenton or halfway to Philly?  I'm sure there's a big place along Rt 1 that we can both find.  I'm happy to take rats, cage, whatever you need.  I can bring a carrier to keep them in for the ride, too.  Tomorrow night (Monday) is fine after 5:30 or so.  We need Ashley to agree!

Halfway to Trenton would be best, after rush hour, like a little after 7?  There's a Stop and Shop shopping center on Route 1 about halfway or so.

If you don't find an adopter, perhaps contact Kim's Ark?

AGGHHHH!!! ...What exactly is the situation as it stands now? Is it a matter of holding onto them for a day till Ashley can take them? Is it taking them from Citylights to meet you JR1030? Would you be able to hold them for Ashley?
*Ashley* - how soon can you be ready to take them?
I'm hesitant to take them on for more than a day because of my 5 girls and 4 hammies, and going to get my new babies next week....The only day I'm available this week is wednesday after 6 p.m and that is only if there is someone that drive me to get them and bring them to you JR1030, so really, I don't know if that even helps.... Huh
My husband already said we can't keep them Blue Dumbo Big Eyes
I really don't know what to say.... Sad

I can't hold them...my kids and I live with my mom, and she thinks there are too many already, plus, we're leaving for 12 days on Friday, and have a pet sitter for all my animals.  I really don't want to put 3 more rats on her that not even I'm familiar with.  I don't know what to say, either.  Undecided

Oh, I'm so sure....New Brunswick is so close I could throw a rock and hit it from my house. I wish Ashley would chime in and let us know what the scoop is so we can figure out a strategy...... Blue Dumbo Big Eyes
