Are these guys still available?  Where in Pa?  I'm in Pittsburgh.  Are they socialized or do they need work?  Thanks.

I'm actually from Pittsburgh as well and would also be interested in possibly a pair.  If pairs are already spoken for, I'd take one boy as I have other males.  I especially would like an agouti boy.

I am the one of the co-founding partners & secretary of the Pittsburgh Rat Lovers Club & Rescue (gibbie, if you are not a member, and would like to be let me know!)  I currently have 6 males in an 18"x30"66" cage-yep, it's taller than me!

So where in PA are ya?

Hey Ashley,

Got you email....they are very cute.  Would you be able to send any more pics and info on them.  How old are they.  Are they handleable or shy.  And what type of cage do they have (if you can send a pic, that would be great!).  Please let me know.

Thanks,

Hey, im sorry but I dont have any other pics for them. These were taken about 4-5 days ago when I got them in. My camera died, and we havent gotten new batterys. I got them in as a surrender from a Vet in Cherry Hill, NJ, as she just couldnt care for them anymore. There WAS 18 babies. Now, there is 6 left Smiley They arnt shy, and they are really cute. No kisses yet, but that should come in time. They are 5-6 weeks old. The cage that they have is the martins The Rat Carriage House (R-640). Its fine for them now, because they are still small. thanks gina!

Hey Ashley,

Thanks for getting back to me.  They are just to cute.  I noticed you have 6 babies left.  Are they all available?  Or just the 3 you have posted?  Do you ever get any dumbos, I just love them.  I looked on mapquest, and you are only about 1 1/2 hours from me.  I love that little agouti boy, he is beautiful.  They are all very cute.  I would love to see them all if we can work out a day and time.  Please let me know.  Also, if you want to call me, my cell # is 856-404-7474.  You can call me anytime.

Thanks, Gina

Yes, thank you Figgy, I agree completely.

Ashley, I don't understand. If you want more male rats, just keep a few of the ones you have, instead of adopting them out and getting mine. Explain the logic in this to me, because I don't get it. If you want rats, you have rats. Is there something wrong with them?

Hi, Ashley, are your boys still available? We live in Lancaster County, in South Central PA.  I didn't notice where in PA you are located.

Our older rat, Rocky, is failing quickly, and we don't want a pet store rat.

What's the update on your boys?

I run a rat rescue. I am ALWAYS looking for more rats. I have resident rats and rescue rats. ( most of them end up being resident rats because I always get so attached  ) So that would be my logic. I was going to keep these boys but then I got an e-mail from a fabulous woman who reallly wanted them Smiley So they have a great home now Smiley Thanks though. Like I said I always get rats in, so if you are interested in other rats Rockys mom, you can PM me. Thanks Smiley
