Well I bought a huge pack of organic soy beans from Costco to see if I liked them, I did not, but my rat loves them! I haven't been givng him the peel (or pod I guess?) just the bean. Are they ok for them? And if they are, how often can he have them?
Thanks!

I've read that soy beans are good for ratties and my rat loves them!  He's only ever had the roasted kind though, haven't tried him with the raw ones because my family doesn't really eat a whole lot of them.  I think i read somewhere that they can help prevent cancer.  Suebees mix also includes roasted soy beans (or soy nuts as some people call them).  I'm not 100% sure how often you should give them, but make sure they aren't the salted "edamame" kind cuz those are reallly salty.
