which one for male rats?

i am going to pick up a large bag of harlan pretty soon and the only two that are available in the large bag is the 8604 and to 2018. right now they have been eating the 2014 and love it. which of the other two is better for males? I have two adult males and two youngsters.

I'd go with the 2018. It's 18% protein and the 8604 is around 22%, if I remember correctly. You can always lower the total protein content of their diet by adding a little more fresh veggies and fruits daily.

I would definitely go with the 2018 between those two. It is much closer to the 2014 in both ingredients and protein/fat levels.
I am currently feeding 2018 to all of my rats, young and old alike.
