*sounds of trumpets* da da da dahhh!   Party  *confetti flying*   occasion16

Yes, ladies and gentlerats, it's finally happened.  Rattie Ratz has an official adoption site for the Sacramento area.  We will be holding regularly scheduled Adoption Days at the Sacramento SPCA on the 3rd Sunday of each month.  Our first date is Sunday, November 18th from 1-4pm.  (Starting in December, the event time will be from 12-4pm.)  The Sacramento SPCA is located at 6201 Florin Perkins Road.

In addition to having rats available for adoption, we plan on having a table to sell craft items and rat supplies to help raise funds for Rattie Ratz.

Awesome! I'm not able to take any more ratties in right now but I'd love to come and possibly buy a few crafts for my current boys. I'm only about an hour away from Sacramento. Looking forward to the event!  Hyper

Our next adoption event at the SSPCA will be on Sunday, December 16, 2007 from 12noon to 4pm.

We've got some real cuties scheduled to be at the December Adoption fair.  Not to mention, it's a great chance for you to get some nice gifts for your rats.  Sleeping tubes, sleep sacks, floor mats, etc...
One of the fosters available for adoption is a handsome young black hooded boy.  I'm told he was born June 20th of this year, which makes him almost 6 months old.  You'd never know it to look at him though, he's huge.  I had Roger neutered due to issues with his siblings and the vet weighed him in at 1.4#.  He's a great shoulder rat who, when not shoulder surfing, enjoys relaxing in a nice hammock.

The first adoption fair of the new year will be on Sunday, January 20th from 1pm to 4pm.

Check out our local foster babies and don't forget the craft table.  Our local members have been busy creating all sorts of really great rat stuff as well as some non-rat items.  You can find sleep sacks, hanging tubes, hammocks, cage mats, cat toys, pet beds, etc...  You can also get Harland Teklad.

Rattie Ratz also collects old cell phones and empty ink cartridges to recycle.

Come on by and say "Hi", but please don't bring your own pet rats.

That is sooo cool you have an actual rat adoption event. That's really great. Good luck! Hope you adopt out some rats and find new foster homes for when you rescue more.

Here's a few of our fosters currently available.

Maggie (PEW) & Evie (champagne) born May 2007.  These girls are fostered in the Sacramento area.

Cutie Patooties.  4 girls & 5 boys born Jan. 16, 2008.  Their mom, born app. Aug. 2007, is also available.  They are all brown hooded and being fostered in the Sacramento area.

Golden Gate Girls.  4 mature ladies, probably 1-1/2 years plus.  They are being fostered in the San Francisco area.

6 2 Gorgeous Boys.  The name says it all.  They're gorgeous with unique colors and coats.  They were born app. in Nov. 2007 and are being fostered in the Los Altos area.  Only 2 of these darlings left, a black capped velveteen and a mink berkshire.

Email me for an adoption questionnaire.  If you would like to see more of our available fosters check us out on Petfinders.  Don't forget to check back from time to time for new arrivals.

Perhaps one of our other adoption events would be closer to you.

If you are interested in one of our fosters that isn't close to you, transportation can be arranged.
