I give up, after 3 ruined attempt I aknowledge I don't know how to make a pan liner. Any body have the specifics (size and such). How do I do it? Like a pillow case, or more just a single layer sheet, and how does it stay on? Do I need to do the shelves too? I am completely clueless, please forgive me

Being a non-seamstress, here's how I did it when I was using fleece. I bought some cheapy fleece blankets from Mervyn's and cut them in half. I laid each half out on my table, placed the pans on top, upside down, drew the outlines, leaving about 3" extra all the way around then cut the fabric. I then folded the extra fabric all the way around, and used duct tape to secure it to the pans. This method worked really well the entire time I used fleece. In time, my girls chewed holes here and there, but I was still able to use them.

I did basically the same as baileyjane, except I use binder clips (the real small ones) instead of duct tape. The pan I have is the kind that you drop the cage into. So the extra fleece hangs over, and I fasten it down with the clips.
