Hey kaytie,
i don't know if you will get this beofre we are supposed to meet in Rockford this afternoon, but I just came across this post.  Will that first cage fit in your car?  I would buy that from you as well as the girls I am picking up today.  I'll ask you about it when I call you at 1.
Thanks!

(Thought it made more sense to post here.  )

Do you know how big the bar spacing is on the First home ferret cage?  It looks about 1" to me, but I really can't judge well.  Also, how does it fit into the stand?  We're interested in it, but especially if our boys won't be able to slip out so I don't have to mesh-it. (I guess I also have to keep in mind that in 2 weeks, they're probably be even bigger!)

It is 1' spacing i have had females in it with no problems. I was very lucky.. when the rats got through the base my boyfriends dad had made this for something a while back and they gave me everything from him. Months later they went through the base and i was looking to make one. I thought about it and went to see if it would fit and it did. The cage just sits on top of the  stand, it fits perfect any bigger and it wouldn't have worked.

 I like it.

Hi Kaytie,
Just wanted to check in with you...I see you have the red all iving things cage on hold...not sure if you are holding that for me or for the other person who was interested....I was thinking, if and when you can bring that cage out if you are holding it for me, if Miracle has not found a home yet, I would take him and put him in the smaller cage I have the girls in now.  He would be in there all by himself.  But I have to have a bigger cage for the girls first.  Let me know what's up with that, ok?  Any idea on when you will be coming out this way?  Sandwich is only about 5 miles from where I work...I could meet you there.

Hey...i might be interested in that red cage that could hold 4...still available?
I'm debating between that or an exotics, but i think i would prefer that because the bar spacing looks smaller, and knowing my girls, they would find some way out of the exotics cage...

Ok, so you know the My first home for ferrets cage? The one that your rats chewed through the bottom? That can hold 6 rats, right? Cuz i'm thinking about buying that one for my girlies. (I think you said that you disassembled yours and were going to use it as an outdoor playpen, so i'd just get one from petsmart.) But i was wondering how your girls did in yours. What's the bar spacing like? Would my 2 month old girls and Diva be able to get out, do you think?
