I posted about my situation here: http://www.goosemoose.com/component/option,com_smf/Itemid,118/forum,rat/topic,4036295.0

But in short, I am unable to care for the rats that I have now.  Also, I will be moving to a smaller place soon and I really need the space.

I would like to rehome this boy first because he is all alone.  He doesn't get along with other males (even his brothers).  So he would need to be neutered, or given a ton of personal attention- which I cannot do.  He is a Himalayan rex dumbo.  He is sweet to people and loves treats but he hasn't been properly socialized (which is my fault) so he doesn't really like being held.  I think he will probably learn to like it with more attention.

He seems to have a very strong immune system.  He has never gotten sniffles while some of my other boys have wheezes almost every day.  Also, he is very cute, as you can see from the picture.  I just don't have the time that he deserves.

His fur is sparse right now and I suspect it's mites.  I am going to begin treating him with Revolution ASAP and I can give you this medication.

I live in Dixon and I travel to Concord a couple times a week.  I could drive up to two hours from either place to meet someone.

If you are interested but live farther away, send me a message and I will try and find transportation.

Also, if you are interested tell me a little about yourself and your rats.  The adoption fee is $10 but I can waive it if I see that you have made a lot of posts talking about caring for your rats.   I can also give you some toys and/or a water bottle and some of his current food to help both you and him transition.

Thanks for any responses I get.   It will really help me take better care of the rats I am keeping.
