Sweet baby rats available April 18th!! (In IL) *PICS*

Hey there, So on March 10th, i rescued a very young, very pregnant mink girl from a feeder tank. 4 days later, she gave birth to 12 beautiful healthy babies. 7 boys, 5 girls. I thought that all the babies were spoken for (3 boys for nevadamoon, 2 boys for xanterra, 2 boys for me. And then someone else had expressed an interest in 2 or 3 of the girls, and i was just going to keep the other 2 or 3.) Turns out, the person who was interested in my girls is no longer interested, due to the fact that she would like more "hand tamed babies".

The babies are very very sweet, and do love attention. They startle at loud noises, but other than that, they love attention. When i hold my hand in their tank, they run all over licking me and trying to climb up my sleeve to get on my shoulder. They don't care for being held and cuddled just yet, but that is just because they are busy little babies.

The mom is a mink, and the dad must have been a black and white hooded, because the babies all look like their daddy!!

I don't have individual pictures of the 2 girls available, because they are so busy and won't stop running around, but i will try and get pics up of the 2 as soon as they are calm. Wish me luck, haha.

I am located in Gurnee, IL, right by Six Flags and Gurnee Mills (my zip code is 60031 if you want to mapquest it). I am unable to drive, so if you are interested and if i approve you, you will have to pick them up.

I do have questions for future adopters, just so i can know a little bit more about where and who they would be going to:
1). Will your rat(s) be a gift to anyone?
2.) Who will be the primary caregiver?
3.) How much time a day do you plan on spending with him/her?
4.) Will their be any children handling the rat(s), and if so, do you plan to supervise and assume all responsibility if the child loses interest? (me), a 15 year
5.) How many rats do you currently have at home?
6.) What type of bedding do you plan on using? What type of cage/habitat will they be in?
7.) Have you owned rats before?
8.) Are you willing to return the rat(s) back to me if you find that you can no longer care for him/her/them?
9.) Are you willing to provide veterinarian care if needed?
10.) What type of food will you provide him/her/them?

There is also an adoption fee of $10 per rat (i would prefer that they go together, they ONLY way i will adopt out singly, is if you already have rats at home.), just so i can know that they will not end up as feeders, and also to help cover the cost of raising them.

I do take care of my rats (i have 25, including the mom and the 12 babies), and love them very very much. So if you choose to adopt my little girlies, i can assure you that you will be getting pets that have come from a good home where they were loved since before they were even born.

Ok, the babies are 5 weeks old today! I just got done separating them by sex, and they all had to me "re-marked", because they ate the food coloring off within hours. 
So, here's the situation. The boys are all spoken for (2 for me, 2 for nevadamoon, and 2 for xanterra). And the girls, well, i am keeping 3, most likely, and then the other 2 still need homes.

I am posting pics of the girls that are available, as well as the boys (even tho the boys are spoken for, the owners still need to pick out which ones they want.).

So here are the pics of the babies!!

There is a 5th boy, but i didn't put color his tail and take another pic of him, because i can tell him apart, and nevadamoon has already claimed him. :-)

Off topic...but if you turn Boy #2 on his side...don't his markings totally look like a cat that's all ticked off and puffed up? But then again, I think Boy #4's markings look like either a crown, a taco, or a spiky sea cucumber. Hmm...now that I think about it, I can see pictures in all of their markings... Time for some sleep, I think.

yep they do look sooo nerves  lol i do not understand why the lady turned down your girls well good luck with the hunt to find  good homes.

Xanterra: You get boys #1, and 4, and Nevadamoon gets boys 2, 3, and 5 (5 wasn't posted, but she claimed him in the eariler post).
Hope you are both happy with the markings!! *crosses fingers*

A little bit about their personalities:
Darrah is very sweet, but a little bit timid. She likes to be with her sisters, rather than exploring the cage alone.
Nadia. Ay-yi-yi. She is a handful, just like her momma! She is very sweet as well, but she never sits still!! She is a feisty little one, but when all the energy gets released, she's a love bug. Just like her momma.

No, sorry, all the males have already been adopted out, except for 2, which i kept!
But I am most likely going to have some babies born in about 2 weeks, so let me know if you would still be interested!
