We just found out that our 2 year old's recent asthma problems are the rats.  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry
We need a good home for our little females  Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry Cry
They have a clean bill of health from Dr. Goldfarb in Auburn, NY. None of them are pregnant.
They have a large handmade pink cage that will hold up to 5 rats. ANd they have about 6 months of HT Blocks from KimsArk.
I really dont want to give these girls up. They are soooo friendly and so good with the kids. But of course my kids are my first priority and even wiping down the rats with baby wipes is not helping.  Cry
The vet is guessing Freya is 5 months, Zelda is 10 weeks and Artemis is 8 weeks. They have a LOT of stuff coming with them, I went wild! We love them so much but our kids health comes first. We have had Freya for 5 weeks and Zelda and Artemis for 3 weeks.
They all live together.

Freya is a mismarked hooded white and tan
Artemis is a Berkshire Agouti
and Zelda is a PEW

They have a large cage 40inche long, 20 inches deep, and 24 inches high
They have a large corner littler box
aspen bedding for the litter box
two water bottles
a food dish that attaches to the side of the cage
two pet carriers
multiple hammocks
two hanging fabric tubes
two hanging fabric coves
three nail trimming "branches"
one large snack shack
one small snack shack
15 lbs of HT 2018 blocks recently ordered from KimsArkRescue
One ferret size igloo
one large wheel
two hanging bird twos
pet cage cleaner
odor remover for the rats water
a plastic strawberry sleeping cave
balls
wood blocks

I think that's it there could be more, I really need to find them a home soon for my son's health.
I posted this on a couple of forums, but Im afraid to post it on craigslist as someone might want them, that doesnt know what it takes to own them.

Thanks

have you found anyone to adopt yet?
if its really a last resort, i would be able to beg my mom. but she'd only be persuaded because:
a-its a live or die thing
b-they have a cage
c- i'm visiting colleges in upstate ny next weekend

i have 3 girls, and i've been wanting 3 more in another cage so they could be like neighbors, since i've got no rat-loving friends. trust me, your girls would be in good hands. my matilda is around 1-2 years old, noone knows. and my twins are around 6 months.

Hi Hun,

I have not currently found anyone to take them.  Keep in mind the cage will take up a whole back seat.  Thank you for considering.  If you would like pictures or to chat more you can reach me at hylawaldron@gmail.com or aim hylachristine

This is Zelda, she is the least social of the bunch.  She usually sleeps by herself and she likes to be handle the least amount. When you can get her to come out, she is a lap rat.

This is Freya, she loves to come out but not necessarily sit with you.  She has the attitude of "I will do what I want when I want"  She is a shoulder sitter but she will also find a little niche on the back of the couch(our couch is pushed up against the wall) and she will sit there and clean herself and then get real still and watch everything and eventually she ends up just falling asleep there, it is so cute!  We have three young children to and she can sleep through anything!

This is Artemis.  She is the most outgoing and adventurous she loves being handled she loves being hugged.  She loves to play and jump around and explore. She does not sit still for anything.  She will climb around on your shoulder...go down into your clothes...onto any furniture you might be next to.  She has a very short attention span.  And she is not a picky eater.

on a darker note, my mom is still saying she does not want another cage here. i'm not talking to her, since she said yes yesterday, and changing her mind like this is so unfair. i'll talk to her after dinner.

Your girls are gorgeous!  Have you found someone to take them yet? I'm definitely interested in them!

I might be able to take your girls. Smiley   The only problem is that I live in the dorms, and have to check with my parents first to make sure we'd have room to bring the cage and girls home for summer.  I'm in Oswego, and since one of my babies died last week, I've been trying to find a couple more young girls to live with my current girls.  The only problem is that I live in the dorms, and have to check with my parents first to make sure we'd have room to bring the cage and girls home for summer.  I'll check and get back to you later...my email is **********@gmail.com, and my AIM is **********.  Smiley
