Our adoption fee is just $5 each or $10 per pair but we do have an application and will require you to buy one of our cages if you do not have a big enough cage for them.

How far are you from the Dayton, Ohio area? I need a young girl roommate for my girl, Stardust.

About 3.5 hours.  Meringue is a sweetie and does great with all our other females.  After her quarantine I couldn't stand leaving her by herself anymore and introduced her to our girls and she has done great.  She was always hanging on the side of her cage begging us to get her out.

These girlies still need homes and we just got in 5 more boys today.  They are about 10 months old now and just arrived here today from Chicago.  All are standard ear and standard coat, 2 are black mismarked hooded, 2 are black berkshire and one is a hemi.  They are a little nervous from their long trip ...being in small cages and such but are settling in nicely.  Their mom was moving and not able to find an apartment that would allow them.  Anyone in Ohio need some ratties???

Hi I'm looking for a baby/young rat girl to live with my 2 hairless rat girls. I'm having the last of my 6 original rat girls PTS tomorrow because of a large tumor and she's too old for surgery. I would like a hairy rat girl to keep my 2 naked girls warm.

Where in Ohio are you located? I'm near Akron. I have a large (4X3X2 I believe) cage that is large enough for 12 rats but I will only have 3 girls in it. Could you please post some recent pictures of Meringue (the rat in the first picture). She's so beautiful!!! I've always wanted a hemi rat but have been unable to find one that was a rescue.

Hi ZooKeeper, I thought I would stop by to give you an up date on Ms. Meringue. We decided to keep her name but we do call her Meringuie Pie. She is a great ratty girl and the intros went very well with my 2 naked girls. They all sleep and snuggle together. She is my little ADHD ratty girl cause she's gets so excited to see anyone come near their cage. She popcorns all over the place when it's feeding time or out of cage time. She has gotten down our schedule for meals and know that if any of us are eating that she's gonna get some too.

I do have to say she has one down fall (if you want to call it that) and that is she hasn't bonded with me but with my 10 yr old daughter Shelby. If she see's Shelby she starts running around the cage wanting Shelby to get her out. She will spend hours grooming Shelby if we would let her! She wants to be with Shelby all the time. Shelby just loves Meringuie Pie!

Thanks for letting us adopt this great little ratty girl. We really love her and enjoy having her here with us.
