Mainely Rat Rescue currently has six litters of precious rescue babies being raised, socialized and loved in wonderful foster homes!!  We have two litters of babies who just turned 5 weeks old and are available NOW!  In these two litters we have black hoodies, Himis and PEWs.

The other babies range in age from 2-4 weeks and in those litters we have black hoodies, black berkshires, beige (and possibly fawn) hoodies as well as PEWs.  Mommas also available for adoption.

Here are some shots of the cutie pies!

Here is Umbra, the Strawberry Dreamer, from Jupiter's litter of Space Cadets

More Space Cadets

Peep, one of Moxie's Monkeys

Marley, one of Jamaica's Reggae Rascals

Babies from three other unnamed litters!

Please visit the Mainely Rat Rescue website (www.mainelyratrescue.org) and fall in love.  Check out the litters under Available Animals.  (Jupiter and the Space Cadets, Moxie and Monkeys, and Jamaica and Her Reggae Rascals.)  We still have three litters to be named and posted).  Check our website often for updates and pictures!

Remember transportation throughout New England can usually be arranged.  We also offer low cost spay and neuters.

If interested, please contact MRR at adopt@mainelyratrescue.org. Thank you! Ratty Smiley

Daisy, we're going to pick up fosters from Springfield once Paula and Kim get the 'who's going where' sorted out, so I wouldn't mind picking yours up for you if you want to get them before August.

Haha!  Is both an option? Wink

Is it possible to foster only males?  I don't mind taking in females to foster, but would prefer males - Let me know!

As far as I know YES on both!!  But would have to check with Kim.  Much depends on logistics when it comes time to separate the litters, proximity of foster homes to possible adopters, etc. and so on!

I am checking now but I believe we have a transport coming to Albany, NY in the next week or so.   I believe three of our neutered boys are going to be fostered in that area.

Were you interested in males, females or a mixed pair?  Colors?  If you can get an adoption application to Mainely Rat Rescue as soon as possible that would be great.  We are meeting on Tuesday at the shelter, picking up the spayed female rats, so if you are approved we will need to make the arrangements as soon as possbile.

Thank you for your inquiry!
