Just so this won't come as a surprise: This is an accidental litter. These babies are now 7 days old. They'll be 5 weeks on June 7. These are for pets only... Not for food. I refuse to give them to pet stores, because I know what would happen to them *Shudder* but I can't take care of them all.. I'm already keeping 4 other babies, which is pushing it.

Questions to answer-
Do you have a pet rat?
How big of a cage would you use for ___? (enter amount of rats you will have)
What kind of bedding will you use?
What kind of food will they get?

Hi,
I would be interested in taking 2 of your boys, when they are old enough.  I currently have 4 females, 3 of which I got from ratlovingkippy...the 4th one is a hairless female that I saved from being snake food when I saw it in a feeder tank at a pet store.

The cage I have is what I had kept the girls in...it is a 3 level cage topper for a 20 tank.  Not sure of the measurements, but I'm sure it would be big enough for 2 boys...4 girls was too much in it though.

I feed the gilrs lab blocks, and then fresh fruits and vegetables daily.

As far as bedding, I really don't use any.  The cage floors are wire, so i have them covered with fabric, which I change daily.  My girls use a litter box, (the majority of the time) and I would try to get the boys trained as well.  I use yesterday's news in the litter boxes.

I do NOT plan to breed...just wanting a couple of "not so busy" boys...

Thanks for considering!

That sounds good. ^.^ Yes, you can have them when they're old enough.
Updates: I decided to keep the girl. My sister's boyfriend is interested in getting 2 of these boys, but I'm not sure if he really wants them.
