Hi guys,
I've been doing a lot of rescue assistance for the
Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL - so much so, in fact, that I just don't have room anywhere to stash the five large to ginormous hooded males who arrived last week. Originally there were two trios, but one was adopted singly and now there's a bonded pair and a bonded trio. I was told their stories, but now can't remember. Think one set was there due to home foreclosure and the other due to the landlord discovering them, but don't quote me on that. I know the one who was adopted out was an agouti, but I think there were one or two more. The rest were black hoodeds.
I (and many other forum members) have been working my tail off to keep the shelter under the level at which they have to euthanize for space and they're not in immediate danger, but even though I'm paddling as fast as I can, they're always near the limit. If anyone can get down there and adopt these boys, terrific. If you're a rescue or live out of the area, I can pull them on my weekly Wednesday trip as long as you can arrange to get them picked up from Mt. Prospect, IL. My car repair bills over the last ten days hit the $3500 mark and are still climbing, so I don't have the capacity to drive all over kingdom come like I used to.
Somebody, please help these old (2+ years) squishes live out their lives in luxury!
