Hello everyone! Its been forever since I've posted, and sadly, the reason I am doing so now is that I need to find homes for my rats. I will attempt to explain my situation in greater detail in a post on Random Chatter, but I will confine this post to a description of the rats, and the cages which come with them.
THE RATS (all female):

Rain:
Rain is an American Blue hooded, with standard coat and standard ears who is full of personality. She is veeery intelligent and enjoys learning tricks. She can play rat basketball and I was in the process of teaching her to walk on her hind legs. She enjoys nothing more than new challenges and showing off.  She is very friendly, and even though she is quite energetic, she still loves a good lap to cuddle in.

Navi:
Navi is a black banded with a badger blaze, standard coat, and dumbo ears. She is a very petite little girl who still looks like a baby even though she's over a year old. She is very sweet and and loves to be petted. When she goes into heat she becomes a little ritten again and popcorns everywhere. She is a handwrestling champ. Perfect for someone who wants an eternal baby rat.

Maya
Maya is an agouti berkshire with velveteen (wavy) coat and dumbo ears. Like Navi, she is very petite, but unlike Nav, she is a complete troublemaker (in an endearing way). Given any opportunity, she loves to go exploring and if the cage door is open for even a second, she is scaling down the side. She is certainly not a dominant rat (none of my girls are really) but she does love to take flying leaps and land on top of the other girls whenever she gets excited.

Kirin
Kirin is a black capped standard coat, standard ear. She loves food, is terribly lazy and I’m afraid that her belly reflects this! She is the only one of my rats that I would consider to be a true “squish” but fortunately her heart is as large as her belly. She would love nothing more than to be cuddled for hours (as long as treats are also forthcoming). She is very licky and loves to groom fingers.

Arya
Arya is an agouti hooded with standard coat and standard ears. She is Kirin’s sister and the two of them are astonishingly similar in personality and temperament with the sole exception that Arya is a bit more active and therefore a little bit slimmer. If the two of them are taken out together, they will take possession of your hand and groom it within an inch of its life.

Satori
Tori is a mink banded with a badger blaze, standard coat and standard ears. I rescued her from a very sad situation and she has never fully recovered her faith in people, though she has made a lot of progress. She has never bitten, nor made any indication that she wants to, but when she is nervous she shivers uncontrollably. She has definitely gotten better, and I can now hold her for a short while without shivering and she comes to the front of the cage to greet me, but whoever takes her in should know that they will need to go slowly with her, and respect the unpleasant past that she is still trying to forget.

THE CAGES: My girls live in two giant martin's cages (model  F475) with rat spaced bars. If someone on the forum wants to take in 3 or more of my girls I will donate one of the F475’s free of charge. If someone is willing to take in all six of the girls, then they can have both of the cages.

Please contact me by PM if you would like any further information.
Thank you,
Sara

It looks like Rain and Kirin may have a home! Grin

Arya, Navi, Maya, and Satori are still available, however.
