So my boy, who just a couple of months ago turned 1yr old, has some kind of tumor growing on him and at the last vet visit, my vet said he thinks it's a lipoma. I'm starting to think he's right (given the age and it DOES feel soft) but it's not growing as slowly as the vet expected. I'm going in on Monday to do a health check and to schedule the surgery to get it removed. I'm wondering if anyone one has had rats with lipomas or knows what are the chances of them coming back?
I couldn't find any solid info about chance of reoccurance.
