Can you save what's left in a container of Revolution? I only needed a little, so I put the lid back on and put it in a dark place.

Also, how often do I need to redose?

Unfortunately, Revolution evaporates quickly due to the high alcohol content so it's best to toss what's left of an open container. Supposedly you don't need to redose with Revolution, but if you want to be sure you've eliminated the ectoparasites you can do it again after a month.

Where can you get revolution? do you have to go through a vet to get it or can i just buy it from somewhere and give to my rat? My rat has a ear infection, and i took her to the vet and they gave me baytril and it just isnt really enough. my vet is horrible and i dont think there is any other vet that takes rats in my city. so if i could save a trip to a vet and paying vet bills that would be great!

I got mine from my vet, but I don't believe it will do anything for an ear infection. As far as I know, Baytril does nothing for an ear infection, either, but I could be wrong. Try printing this off and giving it to your vet...

I don't recommend treating your pets yourself unless you have experience in exactly what's going on and have been to a vet for it, before. It's too easy to over-dose or completely misdiagnose something. I'd definitely try to find a better vet, if he won't pay attention to the info on the first website.
