We have an emergency rescue case located here in GA that needs immediate attention for the future of the rats involved. A total of 9 rats (7 females and 3 males) must be placed either in a foster home or permenant home inthe next 1-2 days due to evection of the owners who cannot take them with them. The GARMCA Rescue Center has no room and can absolutely not take them in - their future is in danger. They have given me a ton of imnformation on each and every one of these guys along with photos. They are willing to offer money for someone to foster them for a period of a month until they can work out something to get them back. They will come with caging and supplies as they are donated with them. Most of the rats are cute black hoodeds. There is one PEW, two black berks and one fawn hooded. Most have been described as very sweet, social and will make great pets. They can most likely be split up.
Never before have we had such little time to address a rescue case and we have not ever had this many rescues within our program. We cannot help them and need someone and a few to step forward and help. These babies need a place to go. Please let me know by emailing me (Amy) at
daratter@hotmail.com if anyone can help. I will be happy to send any info and photos I have along as well. Transport will be offered as much as possible to help out.
