One of the potential adoptees wanted to see some new pictures, so I figured it was time to harass my brother for use of his camera again and do another photo shoot.
Four of the babies are still with me - Two of them, I'm fairly sure I am going to keep... I've grown so attached to them, I'm not sure I'd be able to give them up. But if the right person came along, it might be considered. The two twins, black standard boys I've been calling "Graham" and "Norton" are still available. The brown (mink, maybe?) boy is quite skinny, but as far as I can tell he's healthy. I've been making sure he's been getting his fair share of food. He doesn't act unhealthy, he's just a bit of a thin guy... Especially compared to his dumbo brother, who I imagine will end up being the roundest rat I've owned.
Mom has been alone for almost two weeks now. She definitely seems lonely. Right now I don't have a cage big enough for six rats, so she'll either be staying alone until two or more of the four remaining boys find homes, or until I find a bigger cage. She'll be going to the vet next week so that I can discuss her spay with them. (It's a new vet, and they've never worked on one of my rats before. I want to get to know them first and see if they seem competent - if not, she'll be going back to my very overpriced and creepy-as-all-heck old vet... given, he does very good work.)
Anyway, what everyone actually cares about - Pictures!
"your flashy-box. it is too bright."

one of the available boys (I can't tell the difference between the two in photos... i think it's graham) doing his model pose.

"i is a jungle rat."

I'm not going to caption this one, but I'm sure you all know what I'm thinking.

There as a little cloth tube, and two of the babies were in it. A third baby, my dumbo boy, decided he'd really rather be under it. The fourth babe, he decided to RUN AT THE CAMERA REALLY FAST and mess up my focus.

"this cradle, it does not function correctly."

"i support your claim."

My two unadopted boys. I believe Graham is on the left and Norton is on the right. It really is tricky to tell in photos. Graham is a bit lighter and a bit more less outgoing.

And two of the whole bunch.

Ms. Hibbleton really wasn't interested in not being directly attached to me, so, unfortunately, this is the part where you have to look at my face.
"mommy mommy mommy! let me out let me out let me out!"

"oh. hi. i wasn't desperate or anything. so you know."

I love her headspot. Sure, she has a wonderful personality... But I think the headspot really does you in

I think this is the equivalent of a rat hug.

"you have things, on your face. i will rectify this for you."

"it is be hugs tiem now?"

As is often the case, Seamus had no interest in photos and fairly quickly wandered off to sit in a corner and eat.

I just realized I used the term "a bit more less outgoing" up above. Instead of correcting it and hoping nobody noticed, I will point out this failure of grammar for everyone to be amused by

I meant "A bit less outgoing."
