Well, the cage would not have gone for that cheap anyway.  It says "reserve not met" so if the bidding doesn't reach whatever price they really want for it, it will not sell.  There's no telling how much they actually want for it.  But what you could do is contact the seller to see (1) if the cage is still available and (2) what their reserve price was.  Since the cage did not sell, they may be willing to repost as a "buy it now" at a discounted price from the original reserve amount under the agreement that you will purchase the "buy it now".  We do that fairly often.. when the original auction doesn't sell, the sellers are usually willing to deal just to unload the item.
