Rat train needed from Ill to VA- IN and OH/parts of PA. needed

I have fallen in love with 2 boys from the Ill area born to Guardiantrinity's Shenanigans. They are absolutely beautiful and look like a perfect mix of mom and dad. I do need some assistance with transportation
I am willing to drive up to 3 1/2 hrs to pick them up on their last leg home. Is there anyone out there who may be able to assist me? I would so very much appreciate any assistance with this.

I just wanted to confirm the ratty train-- the bubs are coming from me in Chicago IL area and I can take them 2-3 hours from home. This still leaves quite a few hours in between.
August 16 the bubs will be ready (it is a Saturday).
Can anyone please assist us?

I checked Ask.com's distance finder, it says it's about 700 miles. Thank you so much for the offer to drive them that far! So between she and I, we have about 6-7 hours covered, by my calculations, that may leave about 6 or 7 hrs more of travel between Chicago and Richmond. Is there anyone who could pick up that far from Guardiantrinity and in between? Again, thank you so much in your attempt to get these adorable babies to me and their future big brothers!

Is anyone 2-3 hrs east or southeast of guardiantrinity that would be able to help with the drive to get these little guys to their forever home?
She has offered to take them that far and I can go 4 hrs from Norfolk VA to pick them up from anyone who may be able to assist me with this. Thank you so very very much. Hopefully these boys can get where they need to.

Julztoni lives in CT and is interested in babies from the same litter in Ill. Perhaps someone could pick all babies up (I have 2 reserved, she has 2 I believe as well), and then maybe someone would be available from CT to VA for the times in between? Maybe this is an unrealistic goal, but we're very much interested in these babies becoming part of our families.
They will be ready the week of Aug 16 (Sat). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Where else do you need the rattie train to cover??
I'm in southwestern PA if you need it.

coeurfragile, what part of southwestern PA? My mom lives in Somerset county and doesn't drive much BUT if we could get them close to her, she could probably talk her boyfriend into driving her down to the northern VA area to meet me. I could get them to Richmond to meet cheerio. So that means part of Indiana and Ohio to get through???

Oh, and I also meant to say that I can't do anything August 16th... I'm doing a greyhound "train" that day. I'll be transporting 7 or so retired racing greyhounds from NC to DC.

Just a note: I am in South EAST PA (Exton). My daughter attends U.Conn, so there is sporadically available transport here-to-there. I might be able to do a pick-up as far west as Harrisburg if that is of any help.

I have no idea where Guardiantrinity's 2-3 hr drive may put her, or how far PA is from Chicago. I google distanced it, and it looks like a 571 mile trek from Harrisburg to Chicago. Is there anyone who may in between? That may cover almost all of it! I even let Guardiantrinity know that this may not work, but now it may!!!
Thank you all so so so much for this effort. Hopefully wer can find maybe 1 or 2 people in between who may be able to help! Thanks again

Julztoni- Yipee! This may actually work.
Thank you to all who have offered so far. I believe we need about 1 or 2 stops in between where ever guardiantrinity may be able to leave off in Ill. to get the little guys to PA. Then from PA. my route may be covered, as well as yours! How exciting. Thanks for all the offers so far everyone. It's very much appreciated from me and my boys. We're keeping our fingers crossed for this to come through.

It may. I'm not sure now if I can take in another though. I just took in a double rex from someone that may be pregnant. I have another post on her called Advice Please. If she is pregnant, I'm going to have my hands full
I really hope you can get your boys to you but I think I have to back out. I really wanted Cammie though

Sorry to hear that.
Good luck with your new girl. Hopefully she's not expecting. If she is, good luck with the babies. If I'm anywhere on a needed route for a rat train for those guys, I'll definitely be willing to help!

To all those who have offered so far, Thank you so much!!!!
I would absolutely love for this to work out! I am not very familiar with routes to and from Ill. Is there anyone who could pick up where Guardiantrinity would be stopping off in Ill? (Where exactly is 2-3 hrs from you?) I now need assistance in part of Ill, all of IN and OH, until PA, then I've had some great individuals offer to pick up in parts of PA. I'm so close to getting these guys to me and their new brothers, I'm very very excited!
However, I know there is still a great deal of gap in between. I'm hoping perhaps there are some individuals who may be able to assist with this. If anyone could, it would be so very much appreciated. Thank you again to those who have offered so far, and I'm hoping to hear back soon on perhaps others who may be able to assist. I know that this will be a long trip, and I'm hoping for the least amt of stress on my little guys. If a stop off somewhere is possible to let my guys settle in for the night in between, that would be fantastic. Thanks again, this is getting so close!

I'm in Pittsburgh, so anywhere from about Canton, OH to Hagerstown, MD, unless you've got part of the rattie train in southeastern PA. If so, I can go halfway there too!
Or, I just talked to my boyfriend, who would be coming with me:
If Guardiantrinity would be able to make it to Toledo, OH, we can come pick them up in Toledo and bring them into the Pittsburgh area, if someone would be able to take them from here.

I'm in Reading, PA...but on August 25th, I have to stay the night in Pittsburgh for a doctor's appointment. I'll be leaving there on the 26th to come back to Reading which is about an hour west of Philly. Would that be of any help?

I know that RetiredRacers (Sheila) has been so gracious to offer part of PA to Richmond if possible
. I'm not familiar with PA , so I'm not sure where she would be able to pick up in comparison to where you are. Thank you so very much for this offer. I am hoping to find someone who can assist through whereever Guardiantrinity may be able to go in Ill and then through IN and OH. If you could do the outskirts of OH to PA, that'd be fantastic. If for some reason RetiredRacers wouldn't be able to make it, I can always get to MD, I know where Rising Sun is compared to where I'm at, and Hagerstown isn't but an hr further, so I could definitely make it there. I'll have to keep an eye out and see if there is any possibility in the outskirts of Ill, then IN and through OH. Thanks so much!

It might! Thanks for the offer. Hopefully if we get everything straightened out, maybe someone could meet up with you. Thanks so much! I'm so excited, and so very appreciative to all these fantastic offers made from all of you. I'm thinkin' that this may work out! Thank you all so very very much!

My fiance and I discussed the trip that these boys would have to take to get to me. I've decided I'm being pretty selfish in terms of the stress and length of time on the road that would have to be endured, as well as the great lengths people would have to drive to bring them to me. Thank you to everyone who offered assisting me with a ratty train. I just don't see much possibility in terms of IN and OH. I hope that these boys find a great home, and perhaps there is someone who has been hoping I would give up my claim to them. Guardiantrinity, thank you so much for the opportunity, unfortunately I just don't see it being fair to the boys or you to be dependent on my transportation situation. Good luck to all of you with these beautiful babies!

Just remember that there are thousands of beautiful baby ratties in shelters, rescues, and SPCAs everywhere...and they all need good homes.

Tried the shelters in our area. All females available (only 3 available within 3 hrs of here). I have males, and spays are out of the question for me right now just due to finances available for vet costs (have our emerg. fund, but not much else in terms of things not "required"). I also attempted various local rescues, only to find that they are empty. Go figure. However, I am in luck. Jen (Mamarat) and Stacy (Ratattack59) are bringing down my young pew boy to be named Cosmo, from PA. Thanks ladies!
I am traveling this weekend to MD to meet with Jessica (Liamsmom) to pick up my new young tan and white veriberk to be named Kahlua. I am very excited about these new boys, and thank all of you who have helped me to find them!
