I'm not sure if this is in the correct forum. Anyways, for those of you who have scales for rats, can you give me the weights of your rats and the age of each rat? I'm specifically looking for younger ages, but, older ages are fine as well (may help others, plus it's interesting). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I have 6 boys. 2 are babies, taken away from their mother waaaay to soon, so I don't have weights for them since I just got them today. My four other boys range from 5 months to 7 months. My 5 month old boy is about 450 grams, my 2 6 month old boys are 450 and 425, and my 7th month old boy is 625 (he has just been neutered and isn't introed yet). Hope this helps!

I have five boys.  Here are their names, ages and weights.

Riff-Raff (2-1/2 years old):  560 grams
Izzy (almost 1 yr old):  540 grams
Cheese Lips (almost 6 months old):  580 grams
Ernie (almost 6 months old):  580 grams
Sherbie (almost 6 months old):  640 grams

All of them, except Sherbie, look pretty good for their weights.  Of course they could probably stand to lose a little.  Sherbert has always had a penchant for being heavier than his brothers, ever since he was 6 weeks old.  He is more obviously rolly-polly so I try to get him to run around more.  I think he's just going to grow up to be my big, sweet squish.

Haha, funny timing, just finished weighing my girls with a new scale.

Lola -Dumbo; 2yrs 4mths 1lb 4oz or 570 grams  :shes a bigger girl overall, a little overweight maybe but not much.

Mystique -standard; 2yrs 11mths 14oz or 400 grams :  slim girl, could probably benefit  to gain a little weight.

Rosie- Hairless Standard; 10 mths 11oz or 310 grams : Slim healthy weight.

You say young, but what age range?  6 weeks to 6 months?  and both sexes?  I can give you lots of weights but need to know which ones you truly need  Cheeky

Bug is about 4 monthes old, and I think he is around 400g. No guarantees though, because he's always in motion while I'm trying to weight him

Under 6 months is what I'm really looking for. More particularly, closer to 2-3 months in both genders. Lol. But, all ages are welcome. Smiley

When I first got my three brothers (Cheese Lips, Sherbert, and Ernie) I believe they weighed 175 grams at 6 weeks old.  As far as I can recall, that is a pretty hefty weight for such young boys. Smiley
