Miles are Morty are two brothers who are about 3 months old. Miles is a little pearl dumbo boy, and Morty is (I think) a pearl merle hooded double rex dumbo, though it's hard to say what his color is for sure. They have an interesting story; a man brought them and their sisters (who have been adopted) to a pet store intending to sell them. When the pet store would not purchase them, a groomer there who was worried he would try to "dispose" of them by other means gave the man the money she had in her wallet for them. However, she did not feel she could adequately provide for the rats herself, and thus brought them to HVRR. They were neutered 10/2/08.
These adorable kiddos weren't well socialized when they arrived, but they have made a ton of progress. They are still a bit shy at first, but they warm up quickly and love to snuggle. They enjoy running on their wheel and cuddling in a bonding pouch.. and they LOVE their hammocks. They're becoming quite the lazy snuggle-buddies as they get more comfortable with handling. I'm rather surprised these two haven't been snapped up already!
