Need Help with potty training

I just recently got baby dumbos. I just bought them a huge cage and i noticed that they aren't going poop on the shelves. They are on;y going in the pan. I decided i am going to potty train them. How do you potty train a rat. I went online but couldn't find a lot of info on it. How long does it usually take to train them?

They pretty much seem to have already done it for you   They will always pee everywhere but if you put a litter box where they are pooping and just cover the rest of the floor with fleece, they will probably use the litter box.

That is so great.  I really would like to be able to use fleece instead of litter.  It will be so much cheaper. The cage they have is so big and it takes so much litter to cover the pan.
