Important Notice:
Pinks Pretty Premades is temporarily not accepting custom hammock orders from new customers.  Due to school and the small rescue I run I cannot keep up with the demand for hammocks, and wait times for custom orders are now up to 3-4 weeks.  Hopefully around Christmas I will be able to reopen my store to all customers.  If you have ordered from me previously please PM me or use the forum on my website to contact me about any possible orders.  Premades are available for sale to all customers, new or old.

I have fallen in love with the lovebird fabric. What other types of hammocks can you make to go with it to make a set?

Schrute - any type of normal hammock you would like, excluding some of the specialty hammocks that people make.  I also do NOT have the time to attempt another octopus at this point!  That thing took me hours.  Some ideas: flat, double bunk, triangle (I think that may be next weeks theme), pocket, cuddle cup (I have my own design), double decker, tubes, corner hammocks (with or without pockets), bonding pouches, cubes!, snuggle sacks, and anything else you may desire.  I got three yards of the fabric (I LOVE it myself) so I have plenty to use!

Second order is ready to go out the door!  First order is a bit large and will take a bit longer.  I included a free flat hammock as a thank you.  I even managed to get all the whales upright this time Wink

For PallidSilversky:

Three cubes still available!

Watermelon cube is yours!  I will send you a PM soon with my email address so you can contact me.

Your not able to PM until you get a certain amount of posts.  In the past goosemoose had problems with spammers and instituted the rule to help protect members from inappropriate spam.  Don't worry, you will be able to PM and view profiles soon.

How much were the cubes?  Or I guess are the two left?

Also, tell me more about the "half done liners" that match the pink flowers.....

I did leave the price off the cubes this week.  Opps!  They are $15, and both pictured are still available.

The liners are made with a double layer of batting to make them fluffy and comfortable.  I find that they smell a lot less than my normal liners, as the thickness allows the moisture to evaporate quicker.  They are cut to fit on the inside of the FN pans, so you can layer them on top of a traditional pillow case liner and use them as a pad, or just put them in there as is (which is what I do).  I was originally planning to make several sets and sell them, but half way through this set I realized that they are a pain to make, and didn't feel like bothering anymore.  Its hard to close the opening neatly, and they just take forever to sew.  Hammocks are a lot more rewarding.

This is the one shelf I have done (the rest is cut out and ready to sew).  I just scrubbed my cage and haven't put it back together yet, so I put the liner on the shelf to show you how it fits.  It is held on by two elastic strips that go all the way around the shelf.

And of the elastic:

Two orders that will be ready to go as soon as my grommet punch comes in.  I keep forgetting to mention it, but I have decided to grommet my hammocks instead of using loops.  It should be here Monday, possibly as late as Wednesday, so orders will be going out slightly late.  The hammocks will be a lot more chew proof.

This one is for OhRats!  The flat is going to be a BRIGHT hammock in your cage!

And this one is a donation for Pitter Patter Pocket Pets rescue.  They also have a large amount of well loved, but still usable hammocks, coming their way.

I tried putting an eyelett in the back corner, but realized it could never go through 4 layers of fabric, so I am waiting for the grommets to finish it off.

I made a prototype of a hammock I will be sending to Schrute.  Its some sort of wall loungy/pocket thing.  It has batting quilted to it to keep it's shape, and to make it warm and snuggly.  I kinda like how it came out, and have a few improvements to make on the one I will be sending her.  I'm going to make it slightly deeper, and try to work out the corners a bit better.  Lovely little Darwin (oh, he would be horrified to hear me talk about him like that) is the pretty model.  When my grommet punch comes tomorrow grommets will be added to the top for hanging.

Everything looks fabulous, Pink! If the blue tie dye flannel is still available, I'd love a set! Do you have enough fabric for CN shelf liners (2)?

I caught up on orders!  There will be no theme of the week this week, I have 4 papers to write!  There are still several premades available, and I am able to make extra hammocks to go along with them.

Schrute's Massive Order:

From back to front, left to right:
Cube, Wall Lounge, Triangle
Tunnel, Triangle with large pocket, Huge Pocket Hammock,
Double Decker, Flat

And for FHRats:

A double decker, a huge flat, and a triangle.

I love that fabric, and I can just tell how cute it is going to be in person. I usually try to wait before putting things in the cage (meaning, if I order something I don't put it in right away, I'll wait and use stuff that I already have), but I'm afraid I am going to have to use that right away!

You can nearly earn a free hammock by posting pictures of happy ratties!  I'm sorry it took so long, life has been busy recently.  Did USPS email you the tracking number?  I normally buy shipping directly from USPS, and I know they email you then, but this time I did it through paypal, so I don't know.  Your package will be dropped off tonight, hopefully it arrives quickly.

It sure did! I am so excited to get it! I hope I get to post some pics... my rats tend to run and slam themselves up against the cage doors to be let out when I enter the room so it is nearly impossible for me to get pics of them actually using the hammocks, but I will certainly try! Grin
