I'm going to be ordering some metal pans for my CN sometime next week (pans are being destroyed my chewers). I'm leaning towards Bass pans, but I head someone mention maincagefactory.com, that they have good pans as well. I thought I heard someone say they were powdercoated as well. Is anyone familiar with these pans? And does anyone have a picture of them (website doesn't show them)?
Thanks!

No reply to the previous post so I am asking as well.  (maybe there is a better spot to ask, I am new to this forum, so redirecting would be appreciated)
I have only found one pan for Critter Nation, metal by  Bass Equipment  http://www.bassequipment.com/Cages/Ferret+Pans/default.aspx
I did not see a powder coated one, and I saw one cage being sold as having painted pans that I thought were from Bass.

Was hoping to find other manufacturers with plastic pans.  Bass has plastic pans but they are a bit too big for the CN cages.
I did not see a powder coated pan.

Anyone with a GOOD picture showing the gaps between the pan and the wire?

I presently am using the bottoms of 2 different rat cages on the main floor.  I have my Super Pet Silent Spinner wheel attached to the wire with also the floor stand that is holding the bottom of one of the rat cages snug against the wire so it will not move up against the wheel...but I have to unattached the wheel each time I want to take the wheel out to be clean.  Doing this kind of attachment makes the wheel too tall for a 2nd accessory shelf which I would like to get eventually.

Thanks!

I wound up ordering mine from bass. Their awsome, they fit in the critter nation like a glove.
I just had mine professionally powder coated. I was going to spray paint them myself, but it's such a hassle and I was scared that I'd mess them up. Plus I'm not sure how long the spray paint protects them from rusting. Luckily I'm friends with the guy that owns the company that powder coated the pans, so I didn't have to pay anything (except a tray of cookies, lol). I'm not sure how much it usually costs to get these powder coated, and it also probably varies from place to place. I will say that powder coating is the way to go. They came out so awsome. Their bright pink which I looove. Once I'm finished decking out the cage I'll post some pics.

I don't miss the race, just the rats.

OoO you are so lucky!  I can't wait to see it!

Cits-generally a question should start its own post but its not a big deal.  Housing stuff goes in home squeak home, health/care stuff in rat care, and other rat stuff in rat tails and mug shots.  Bass does not powdercoat its pans.  You need to get it done professsionally like rodent-girl, or spray paint it yourself with rustoleum.  I'm late but the place in Maine quoted me a ridiculously high price!  I didn't even want it painted by them either although they will.
I've found plastic CN pans that were deep, but none with the hole so you'd have to try and cut it your self I guess?  It's not much cheaper to go plastic either.
