On the 22 of last month, a foster girl gave birth to 12 little eepers, 2 didn't make it. But the rest are happy little wiggly eepers and will be looking for a home soon.

I'm in lake county.  As of right now, I only have 1-2 females left. But you never know if someone will change their minds. The will be ready to go to their new homes anytime after the 26th.

Hello,

I'm in Tampa, and am new to rats, and would really like to get a trio of young female rats. I just bought a Martin's R-695 & am in the process of assembling it & getting other supplies (coverings for the wire floors, wheel, fun stuff, quality food, etc).  Are there any unadopted gals left?  I'm new to rats but have had rabbits, mice & hamsters.  I have 2 older cats who were completely uninterested in the mice & hamsters after week 1.

Thanks so much and if you have any questions or concerns, feel free to email me.

Thanks,
Jennifer

I have 2 girls left. They are bigger than in the last pics posted but they are the black and white veriberk girl (mostly black) and the tan and white girl, she has a blaze splitting her cap and a darker spot on her back. Both are very sweet and handled daily.

Hi,

If they're still available, I'm very interested, in the 2 gals.  They're so cute!

I have a large plastic file bin I can retrofit (wire roof & side parts for better ventilation) until the Martin's cage is ready.  And I can get whatever food is best for young rats.  I've also located a local vet who treats rats/exotics and will take them if there's any reason for vetcare.

Thanks,
Jennifer

PS -- This is great news.  It's been hard to find reputable folks in FL with happy, socialized babies who don't have a large waiting list.

I'm not a breeder. I took the parents from my younger cousin who was breeding someones pets he got from craigslist for his pet snake. His mother dropped them off to me when he found out what he was doing. I would never breed my own rats.  I have a pair of boys going to Tampa in a week or so. I can see if that daly could take the girls down there too. As for food, they are being fed mazuri block, and they are currently on yesterdays news for bedding. I sent you a pm of Floridarat, as I'm on there a lot more... If you would like to pick them up sooner I'm in the leesburg area, which is about 1 1/2 hours away from Tampa. My jeep won't make it as far as Tampa and back right now. They are ready to go to their new homes now.
