The Professor
Oct? 2001 to Jan 13 2004 That would make him 27 months, maybe more. PTS due to Aggressive lymphoma.
I rescued him from some bumpkins who originally bought him at a pet store.

Choco - late April 2001- 22 Jan 2004. ~33 months. Congestive heart failure.
Tofu - 22 April 2003 - 25 Nov 2003. 6 months. Possible complications from an undiagnosed SDA infection before we adopted her from the breeder in August.

Tinkerbell - black hooded - approximately 5 years - euthanized when a tumor became too much for her and ruined her quality of life - purchased at a pet store
Bootsey - feeder - gray and white berkshire - still living at 2 1/2. In good shape after a recent tumor removal.
I'm surprised at some of the short life spans posted here. I guess I've been lucky.

Dot-Black Berkshire satin coat. About 32 months. She had respritory problems. Could have been a tumor as she had a few tiny ones when she passed. I got her and Cookie at a petstore that uses it's own breeder.

Well, happened a bit ago. But I'm just now posting.
RATC Cassie-breeder. Kidney failure, tumor or abcess thing, had to be euthanized because she licked the thing, it caved in, and it smelled really bad (like internal bleeding my mom says). Our vet warned us about that. Either 13 or 14months.

My rat kahn lived to alittle over 4 years, he died of pneumonia mixed with old age. i actually had him put to sleep b/c of his age and he was in alot of pain tword the end of his treatment and it wasent working. he was a super sweet rattie.
my big rattie jehova lived till threeish and died of suspected heart attack, his cage- mate cocaine died abt two weeks later of unknown causes. we think it was depression/lonliness. they were the same age, and both super rats.
