Howdy!

« on: April 14, 2003, 07:02:45 AM »

As a docent at Sunset Zoo as well as resident rat expert ( ) I have been assigned the task of finding a hairless rat (as well as a companion) for our education program. The rats will be housed together in a wire cage, fed Mazuri lab blocks and fresh fruit and veggies, and generally spoiled by the entire staff, volunteers and junior zookeeper kids. The rats are kept off-exhibit as they are used in our education programs that we give at schools, community centers, retirement homes, and even at the zoo to groups of all ages. Our education about the rats is based upon some animals making good pets (rats) and others making bad pets for most people. We emphasize research of proper care and overall responsible pet ownership. If anyone can help me out, most likely I will purchase the rats myself and donate them to the zoo. I will also be responsible for picking up and transporting the rats back to the zoo. Manhattan, KS is in the northeast corner of the state. Thanks-

Ya might wanna check the date; almost 2 and a half weeks since the last post.  Blue Dumbo Big Eyes Might try PM'ing them, or, since they're not a 'regualar poster' try e-mailing her from her site. ^.^ Might get a faster responce.  Blue Dumbo Smile
