My daughter's teacher has a new litter of 16 rittens, all healthy and doing well.  They are going to the mountains this week-end, and she asked me if I would be willing to ritten sit for them and their mom.  We are thrilled to do so! They will be about 3 weeks old then.  Don't worry.  I will keep them far from Missy and make sure everyone washes up between handlings.  I gave her an article on why rats need company so she hopefully won't give away singles again.  She does make each child's parent come in to give permission and will not release a rat until the student has acquired the proper cage, etc., so she is trying to be responsible.  She's going to drop off the rittens Friday after school.

that would be so fun.  I would love to have rittens, but don't want to have to deal with finding homes for them all etc.  I would love to ritten sit for a few days.
