Huh OK my rats have ringworms right....but how did they get them? All thet do is sit in their cage and every once and awhile roam my room. The only thing that I can think of is once I put one of my old shoes in there with them to play with, but I have never had ringworm before to give to them to give to me... Undecided I dont know.

You can carry ringworm on you and pass it to your pets without you ever getting it. Some of us are immune to it (like me). I have worked in animal shelters for 8 years and have handled a lot of ringworm covered animals and have never once gotten it.

Ring worm isn't actually a worm.  It is a form of Jock itch.  A fungus/bacteria.  It is common in animals & HUMANS.
