When I brought home my new mouse, she didn't look pregnant...but it has since become obvious that she is going to explode quite soon...lol. She is a deep chocolatey colour, with a thick satin coat and ruby eyes...I couldn't tell you what the father looked like as she got pregnant at a pet store  Roll Eyes I also couldn't tell you how long she's been pregnant, but she is quite large now and will probably have them soon..however, my rats are being treated for some kind of mite/lice(only one who has been apart from them has shown any, but just to be safe...)..so it may be a little while before I absolutely positive the mice are free of pests and comfortable putting them in homes.

anyway, they will be free to good homes if anyone would like one or as many as you want, although unless I trust you completely that you won't keep them together, I'm not letting any multi-genered pairs/groups go. I'm in western mass, but I'm VERY often in eastern mass as well. let me know if you're interested Smiley

I Love My Mice!!!

Hi,

I was told to contact you by Kim's Ark.  I am looking for a companion to my baby field mouse I saved about 7 weeks ago.  I never had a mouse before...what an education!  I have hand raised her since before her eyes opened.  She has been to the vet and she is a happy, healthy, cutie pie.  But...I think she is lonely.  I bought her a friend at a pet store but the new mouse doesn't interact with her at all.  They are both girls.  Would it be right to add another mouse to the house?  They are in a 10 gal with tons of SAM tubes and things to play with.
I don't want to add to the group if this is not a good idea, but since I am in learning mode I need advice from you.
Let me know if one of your mice would like to live in NJ.

Thank you, Kim.  Do you think that three in a 10 gal is okay??  I don't want to stress out my baby, just give her some friends to play with.

I honestly couldn't give you much advice about mice, I'm still learning myself.

apart from that, I only have females reserved now...would love for someone to take some boys off my hands

I can only take a girl if you still have one available...I really would prefer not to have any babies!!!  Let me know.  For me, every day is a learning experience with Missy and Pumpkin.  I never thought in my wildest dreams that I would have mice in my house (invited)!!!
