I'm a llama!

« on: April 21, 2003, 03:27:55 PM »

Wonderful opportunity to get extremely well socialized baby rats! The person who started and heads the RMCA (Rat and Mouse Club of America), Mary Ann Isaksen, rescued two pregnant females from an Orange County Animal Shelter (a.k.a. the pound) (where they would otherwise have been euthenized!)

Both rats had large litters very soon after rescue. There are lots and lots of babies to choose from!

MOST IMPORTANT: All babies have been hand raised by Mary Ann.  These babies all rush up to the side of the cage when you walk in the room, just begging to be handled and loved on. They act just as well socialized as breeder babies do when first brought home.  You can adopt these rescue babies and know you are doing a GOOD DEED!

The babies are all GORGEOUS in shades of white, cream, chocolate and black, with some bareback and berkshire markings. Pretty and already addicted to human love!!!

You simply must go to the effort to adopt these babies instead of getting pet shop rats or breeder rats, if you are even thinking about getting new rats soon.  Go for this opportunity to have the rats raised by the head of the RMCA. This won't happen again anytime soon, guys! And I imagine you also get to meet Mary Ann, who I hear is really nice!

Hi there!  These babies are ready to be adopted and brought to their new homes this weekend. If anyone out there is thinking of getting new rats and may decide to adopt from Mare of the RMCA, don't procrastinate. Young rats are always so wonderful while they are still small and baby-ish.

p.s. That's so sweet that you would be willing to help foster some, surfinratties! Email Mary Ann here if you want to help out in this capacity (I know she has her hands full with lotsa little fuzzballs!)
