Hi everybody,I have four female rats and have already spent a fortune on them,with yet another trip to the vet on friday.Im applying for insurance with VPI and would like to know if anyone has had any experience with them.The good the bad the ugly...i would like to know all.

Hi, I don't have any experience, but I'd be interested in finding out more about the insurance.  
Do you know how much the premiums are for rats?

One of my co-workers has pet insurance and she LOVES it! I'll ask her more about it and get back to ya.

I don't have it, because it would cost me $50 a month to insure all 8 rats. But it's only $7 a month per rat, and a tiny discount for additionals.

Thanks everyone,i would really like to know how they are about paying claims.Also they don't cover pre-existing conditions,does anyone know if they consider MYCO a pre-existing condition.My girls have all had a go round with the dreaded diease but have since been declared healthy,does that constitute cured?Help,trying to decide.

sounds like a good idea, might have to look at that.
i cant imagine them paying out for much though, or they would end up giving away more money than they are getting, seein as rats have such a short life span??
